Roman grew up in the shoe ateliers of the Bolshoi Theater of Moscow which began his love affair with the art of ballet and pointe shoes. His mother brought her young son to work where she was making shoes for the ballerinas. In 1991, he started his own manufacturing company and to this day he is constantly working on achieving his dream: To create the Ideal Pointe Shoe!
Nearly 30 years later, the factory is one of the biggest pointe shoe manufacturers in the world. Even if you haven’t heard much about this brand or haven’t seen it in dance shops, you are, most probably, familiar with their models that have been manufactured for other brands throughout the world.
