Defective Items
If an item is thought defective, it must be returned for determination with receipt within 15 days. The item must have original packaging and tags. The item must not show any sign of wear.  The item in question will be assessed and you will be notified by phone or e-mail on the determination. If the item is deemed defective, we will replace it, exchange it or reimburse you for the item plus return shipping. If the item is not deemed defective, you will have the option to have it returned to you at your shipping expense or leave it with us.

Special Orders 
Orders on items that we do not have in our inventory are available. These take much consideration, so in order to get exactly what you are looking for, please call or e-mail us with the best description possible and we will try to find it for you. Then we will return your call or e-mail with clarification and options for you before we place the order. Special orders take a minimum of 2 weeks to ship out but can take up to 12 weeks. You will be notified of the estimated order time. Returns on special orders will also be for exchange or store credit but will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the price.

Shipping Information
Orders will be shipped via UPS within 48 hours if the items are in stock. Based on your shipping selection, it can take anywhere from 3 days to 14 days to receive your shipment.

If the order is out of stock we will contact you using the information you provided.  Normally, out of stock items take approximately 2 weeks to restock.

1.1 What are your hours?


Tuesdays and Thursdays 12pm to 7pm. 

Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10am to 6pm.

We are closed on Sundays & Mondays.

1.2 What is your refund and return policy?

With a receipt, we offer exchange or in-store credit that never expires. After 30 days, forget it!

1.3 What forms of payment do you accept?

In the store we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Online we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Express.

1.4 Can I order things I don't see on the website?

Generally, yes. If you see something you like on one of our vendors' web sites, we can order it for you. Or, if you give us a description of the item(s) you are looking for, we can usually help you find what you are looking for within the vendors we work with.

1.5 Where are you located?

We are located at 625 N. Carriage Parkway, Suite #100, Wichita KS, 67208 in the Carriage Parkway Shopping Center, which is one block east of Edgemoor off the north side of Central.

1.7 Do you sell custom dancewear?

Nope.  But we are happy to help you find what you're looking for.  We work closely with another local business, Pumpers,  that could help you with costuming needs.

1.8 What if pinks between the tights, shoes and leotards don't match?

There are all different shades of pink in ballet. It is ok to mix them. The ballet shoes, since they are made of leather, are typically always a tannish pink. They do not match the tights. There are only two shades of pink tights that we sell: Theatrical Pink and Ballet Pink. Most teachers want dancers' legs to universally be the same color. So check with your studio's requirements to find out what you need. Leotards are fashion so they are made in many different shades of pink. Some will match the tights but most won't. Sometimes even the same items can have small differences in color. Each company uses different dye lots so the color might vary between them. You will not be the only one in class with "unmatched" pink on! It's nothing to be concerned about.

1.9 How long have you been in business?

Attitudes opened May 1, 2004. We celebrate every year with a sale, including May Day baskets, flowers and refreshments.

1.10 When will my order ship?

If the item is in stock, it will ship within 48 hours of the order and be delivered within the time frame of the chosen shipping method. If the item is out of stock, an order will be placed with the company, which takes about two weeks. Once the item is in our store, it will ship within 24 hours and be delivered within the time frame of the chosen shipping method. If the item is a special order, it can take two to twelve weeks for delivery. Notification will be sent with an estimated delivery time.

1.11 What types of dancewear do you sell?

We carry a wide variety of dancewear, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and ballroom. We have some skatewear and gymnastics wear. We also carry yoga, pilates and workout wear. We have a wide variety of shoes for both the beginner and the professional.
